WaveBord is a small enterprise in Donegal making wooden type bodyboards, our aim is to go back to basics with natural materials and to move away from a plastic society

The Wavebord is a fine addition to any Irish adventure and is as popular with the day tripper as with the seasoned surfer.

Ageing back to the wave riders of yesteryear, riding wooden planks, refined over the centuries and popularised in the Twentieth Century. Wooded surf riding boards are a classic and proven source of stoke!

Our Classic wooden Wavebord is cut, shaped and finished in the Northwest of Donegal, Ireland. Made using 100% Birch plywood and sealed with natural oils & waxes to seal them. All products used are environmentally friendly using waterbased paints and natural materials.

The Wavebord catches small foamy waves of any size or you can catch the green waves and boost your speed with a pair of fins!

The Wavebord has been tested in the remote beaches of Donegal by the crashing waves of the Wild Atlantic Ocean.

The Wavebords come in various designs, each Bord is unique, just like a fingerprint no two Bords are the same.

Choose from the Classic non-painted Bord or add some colour such as Red Crab, Atlantic Blue or Aqua Green!

Our Bords, if looked after can be handed down through the generations providing endless fun for the future.

Unlike the plastic foam boards you see broken up on beaches or in bins the wooden bord will last forever!
